HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Friendly kitty who loves snuggling on your lap – she purrs constantly and loves ear and face rubs

– She also does well on her own doing her own thing

– Likes toy balls and plush toys when she’s feeling playful

– Loves looking out the window, smelling the fresh air, and sleeping on the couch

– Happiest in a calm, quiet environment with mature family members; children are just not a good fit for her

– Not a fan of other animals, and needs to be the only pet in her new home

– May have had feline idiopathic cystitis in the shelter due to stress, but has shown no litter issues in foster care

– She is the ultimate snuggler once she becomes comfortable in her surroundings. She is a sweet, trusting, gentle girl who doesn’t ask for much and is quite grateful for attention and love. However, she likes things on her own terms, and she’ll give you signs when she needs a break (tail waving, ears turned back, etc.)

This cat will also benefit from interactive toys such as wands and ball spinners while playing. If you can give this pretty girl love, patience and space when she needs it, please consider adopting! She would love to be your sidekick and buddy for life!
