Pixie
Animal ID: 277677 |
![]() |
– Spent some time in a foster home and made herself at home quickly; was very mellow and enjoyed relaxing in her dog bed during the day – Likes tennis balls – Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip: “Pixie is a 10/10 dog. She’s genuinely the perfect mix of snuggly and playful. She did amazing in the car. After we went back to our apartment and played ball, she jumped up on the couch and got all snuggled in under a bunch of blankets. It was the cutest thing ever. She’s such a perfect dog. We adored her so very much.” – Already knows sit and likes treats – Enjoys going on walks and may do best with a harness – Does well in the car – Was crate-trained in her foster home and would go into her kennel easily at night and not make a sound – Has done well with children she has met – Seems to like other dogs and may enjoy a like-minded dog friend in her new home All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
