– Spent some time in a foster home and made herself at home quickly; was very mellow and enjoyed relaxing in her dog bed during the day

– Likes tennis balls

– Enjoys going on walks and may do best with a harness

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip: “She was very well-behaved in the car and enjoyed the windows down. She liked sitting on the patio and did really well with people, including kids, who showed interest. She loved the walk and all the stuff to sniff. She was affectionate and seemed very comfortable with allowing me to get close.”

– Already knows sit and likes treats

– Was crate-trained in her foster home and would go into her kennel easily at night and not make a sound

– Seems to like other dogs and may enjoy a like-minded dog friend in her new home

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
