HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – What an amazing cat – he loves to sit on your lap and will follow you around like a puppy dog – He would rather drink from the faucet than the water bowl (but will drink from his bowl)! – Loves to be petted and brushed – he welcomes any affection given to him – When feeling playful likes catnip toys – Stressed around other cats, so he may be happiest as your one and only – Has lived with kids – This cat is likely in kidney failure, based urine specific gravity and blood work we ran (more info at ARL) |
