– Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever’s going on – when he meets new people he’s happy and wiggly

– Loves stuffies and will entertain himself if you’re not playing with him

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip and did great: “He is a silly goofy boy who loves to play and run. He is very sweet and curious. He has a big smile on his face all the time. He likes to nap on your lap.”

– Knows sit and likes treats

– Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs and will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style; would probably enjoy a dog friend that can match his energy (dog intro recommended)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
