– A really great dog who loves people – she warms up quickly, loves being petted and likes chewing on toys

– Especially loves playing in water and will splash around if she has the opportunity

– Does best with a harness on walks

– Can be socially awkward but has done well with like-minded dog friends and loves playing with them and spending time with them; may enjoy a dog companion in her new home (dog intro recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
