This dog is part of our Missed Connections club – a group of our most patient pups who’ve been waiting longer than others to find their soulmate. Take a closer look – they could be your perfect match! Adoption fee: $45. A lifetime of love: Priceless.❤️ — – Busy, active pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities, but also can be very loving in quieter moments – Obsessed with squeaky toys and chew toys, enjoys going on walks, and enjoys hanging out on the back porch of her foster home – has taken it upon herself to keep the yard squirrel-free – Ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like her – Went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip: “We went on a walk, took her to play fetch, got her a pup cup and gave her a bath. She was the sweetest girl. She will do anything for a tennis ball!” – Very smart girl who knows sit and thinks things through; classes may be wonderful for her – Was fully housetrained in her previous home and is in her foster home as well; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine – Has been free-roaming when her foster family is not home with no issues – May need time to get used to new people and animals, so slow introductions will be beneficial; while in her foster home she has met some strangers and has gone over to other people’s homes, and as long as people take things slow she makes friends nicely – Took her foster family a little while to form a relationship with her, but now that she has decompressed in their home, she’s a wonderful companion and they’re not sure why she hasn’t been adopted yet! – Naps on her back with her feet STRAIGHT up in the air! – May do well with older, more mature children; fast movements can be stressful for her, and she can forget her manners at times, so young, noisy or busy kids may not be an ideal fit for her right now – Tends to be socially awkward and introverted with other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro required) – Needs a home with no cats This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
