– Energetic guy who loves playing fetch and playing with stuffies and other toys – he’s very silly and will play with absolutely anything

– Once he burns off some energy, he’s happy to do some cuddling

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip and had a great time with his human companions: “He was kid-friendly with our child. He had tons of energy that wasn’t overwhelming. He was very gentle. When we fed him treats, he had a very gentle mouth. He was calm when seeing other dogs.”

– Knows sit, loves treats and does well on a leash

– Can be a little unsure about getting in cars, but rides well once he’s in

– Seems to like other dogs and has a bit of a rowdy play style; may love a like-minded dog friend in his new home (dog intro recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
