HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – A very large, loving lady who will win your heart – Enjoys belly rubs and being brushed and will benefit from an adopter who will be devoted to brushing her and keeping her looking her best! – Will thrive in a more mature home; young, busy children are stressful for her – Not a fan of other animals, and will do best as the only pet in her new home; if you do have another pet, a VERY slow introduction will be required to set her up for success – Looking for a committed adopter who will help her shed some pounds |
