– Extremely sweet dog who has an underbite that gives her a worried expression at times, but don’t be fooled!

– Likes squeaky balls and sniffing everything she can

– Knows sit, stay and shake and loves treats

– Does best with a harness on walks

– Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her and she prefers to enjoy her favorite things without interruption, so we think she’ll do best in a calm, mature home where all family members are old enough to understand when she just needs some me time

– May take some time to warm up to new dogs, can be socially awkward, and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
