HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Adorable, gentle cat who just wants all the love in the world – she loves attention and can’t get enough! – Enjoys snuggling right up next to you when you sleep and is a serious lap cat too – if you sit down, she’s on your lap! – Loves to look out the window from a tall cat tree and watch the outdoor critters scamper around – Likes to play with her cat toys, especially her cat wand, and toy balls she can chase after – Likes to be brushed – May have some hearing loss, but it does not impact her quality of life – Part of her tail was amputated due to an injury, but it doesn’t bother her at all (it’s just a little shorter than normal)! – This animal is likely in early stages of kidney failure based on urine specific gravity and blood work All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
