– Kind, gentle, affectionate girl who loves tummy rubs once she feels comfortable with you

– Shy pup who prefers when people approach her slowly and may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home

– Enjoys playing with toys and running around

– Was good with being left home alone and typically relaxed or slept

– Previous family said she knows sit, stay and paw

– Was fully potty trained and crate-trained in her previous home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule

– Lived with children and enjoyed playing with them

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
