– Loves to cuddle and he sleeps in the funniest places – Not a fan of young, busy children, but may do okay with older kids who are gentle with him – Would love a cat tree and scratching posts in his new home – Enjoys cat treats and ear rubs – Prefers not to be picked up and carried around – Loud noises are scrary to him, so he is looking for a quiet, calm home – Needs a slow introduction to other resident cats to set him up for success, and will likely be happiest as your one and only cat – Will likely be shy when you first bring him home, so he is looking for a patient family that will let him settle in on his own timeline, and become comfortable in his new home This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We’ve seen good progress here at the ARL, but don’t be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first – maybe for quite a while – and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life! All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
