– Most gentle, perfect boy who can be shy at first, but is SO sweet once he knows you!

– Will lean into you with his whole body to get pets

– Loves to cuddle a lot, and he’ll often fall asleep in his dog bed when he’s spending time in our Activity Center

– More interested in cuddling than toys, but he will sometimes get the zoomies for a few minutes before he’s back wanting to cuddle

– Can be independent, but also loves to be around people

– Knows sit, stay and down; loves treats and takes them so kindly by just opening his mouth

– Loves going on walks and does best with a harness

– Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him (mature home recommended)

– Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs, but enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style (dog intro recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
