HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Quiet, friendly guy who loves pets and head scratches and will roll around, rub his face on his blankets and purr up a storm when he’s happy – Has had a bit of a rough life and looks a little rough around the edges, but he’s the absolute sweetest boy – Looking for kind, calm people who will show him the good life – Will likely be happiest as the only cat – and possibly the only pet – in his new home – This cat has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, and we recommend they be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats.
