BIG FAN OF: Tennis balls and frisbees.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Garbanzo is a very good boy who loves to play and then cuddle once he is worn out. He does great on a leash and in the car, and he enjoys walks and outings. He did very well with kids on a recent Dog’s Day Out field trip! He currently knows sit and down.

OTHER REASONS HE’S SPECIAL: He can be a rowdy player with other dogs, so we’d suggest a meet-and-greet with any potential dog roommates before adoption to make sure everyone’s play styles are compatible.

DREAM HOME: With a fun family who will play with him and take him on walks each day, and cuddle with him when the house is quiet.

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
