HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Amazing cat who loves head bumps, and demands lots of attention and pets – Strong, solid guy with gorgeous coloring – Is doing very well with the other cats in his foster home, and may enjoy a cat friend in his new home – Very curious boy! Loves to open cabinets on his own and explore – Prefers not to be picked up or brushed – Loves to watch and listen to birds – Truly loves his kitty drinking fountain and will be thrilled if he has one in his new home – Has a fun, spunky side, so he may do best in a more mature home, or with older kids who have experience with cats and know when he wants time on his own – This cat had a urethral obstruction (more info at ARL) – This cat has shown signs of overstimulation while in the shelter.
