HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Has lived with other cats, so he may enjoy a calm cat friend in his new home, after a slow introduction

– May do well with children who are gentle with him

– Prefers not to be picked up but is a very sweet cat who likes attention

– Is not really a lap cat yet, but prefers to sit close by on the couch or the head rest of the couch

– Is shy at first and may take time to warm up to you, so let him go at the pace he feels comfortable

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
