– Loves spending time with people, sitting in laps and leaning in for pets

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip and charmed her human companions: “She is such a sweet dog. She is very timid at first but was really coming out of her shell. She loved playing ball and leaning in for a snuggle. Her tail went from underneath her to wagging!”

– Looking for a more mature home where all family members are old enough to help her continue working on confidence-building

– Enjoys like-minded dog friends and would love a calm or confident dog friend in her new home

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
