– Loves people and companionship; will approach new people with booty wiggles to ask for all the love

– Likes pets all over and will let you know if you stop petting her before she’s gotten enough; loves to roll over on her back for belly rubs

– Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like her

– Walks nicely on a leash

– Enjoys car rides and recently had a great time riding in the car and getting a pup cup on a Dog’s Day Out field trip

– Super food motivated and loves treats

– Tends to be an introvert around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
