– A very sweet, cuddly little boy who likes to lay on the couch and be near people (not a fan of being picked up, but happy to come to you for snuggles)

– Will make the perfect couch buddy

– VERY food motivated, especially if it’s chicken or cheese; got very excited when he learned about chicken salad for the first time

– Foster family says he is completely potty trained, knows works like “outside,” “walk,” and “treat,” and some basic commands like sit and stay

– Initially wasn’t super interested in toys, but has recently developed an interest in tug-of-war; occasionally likes playing with stuffies

– Has done well when left home alone

– Totally unphased by the cat in his foster home and barely seems to notice him, so would probably do well in a home with cats

– Not a fan of dogs bigger than him, but has had pleasant interactions with dogs closer to his size; may do best as the only dog in his new home

– Looking for a teens-and-up home right now

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
