HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org or Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org. – Enjoys sitting on your lap or against you while you read or watch TV – Likes to sleep at the end of the bed or next to you at night – She’ll talk to you when she wants attention – She likes to play with balls, wand toys and lazer pointers – Knows how to play fetch and is quite talented! – Absolutely loves cat tunnels (is very entertained by them) – Spends hours looking out the window – Loves scratches, especially on her head and ears – Likes to dip her paws in her water bowl and then lick the water off her paws – too adorable! – Young or busy children, fast movements and loud noises can be too much for her, so she needs a home with adults only – Not too fond of other cats or dogs; may do best as the only pet in her new home or with a very slow introduction to any animals in her new home – Beautiful cat that will thrive in a quiet home with someone that wants a sweet cat to spoil with love and attention |
