HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Very affectionate with her people; purrs pretty much nonstop and gives lots of kisses when you pet her – Loves to be your shadow and sprawl out wherever you are – Loves playing with pom-poms and will even bring them back to you if you throw them – Enjoys her beauty sleep after some playtime – Would prefer a quiet retirement with no young kids or other pets – she lived with a dog and cat in her foster home and was not a fan – This cat has shown signs of overstimulation while in the shelter.
