HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Friendly kitty looking for a calm home – Enjoys being with his human and you’ll often find him on your lap, next to you or just hanging out in the same room as you are – Very cuddly fella who welcomes lots of attention – He plays throw-and-fetch with his toy balls that he can carry in his mouth, and will bring his toys to you while you sleep – Likes to play with wand toys, balls, and catnip toys – Front declawed – Needs to be the only animal is his new home – Young, busy children are too much for him, so he is looking for a more mature home – Loud noises are scary to him – he will be a wonderful friend for a calm, patient person who loves the quiet life just like he does – This cat is very fearful of traveling and vet visits, so he will need a patient adopter who is willing and able to work with a veterinarian who uses “Fear Free” techniques for his care (more information at the ARL) |
