– Cuddly lap dog who will flip and flop to get into your lap – Follows her people everywhere and likes to sleep by their feet – Has the sweetest, silliest smile – Does well on a leash and in the car; loves to stick her head out car windows – Can be nervous around loud noises or fast movements – Not a fan of being in her kennel at night and would prefer to be with you – Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended) – Tends to be an introvert around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to other dogs and may enjoy like-minded dog friends (dog intro recommended) – Curious about cats but has not interacted with them much This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you’re interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org. The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
