– Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever’s going on; has a lot of energy but is also very sweet and respectful

– Loves tennis balls and likes to play fetch; good at trading out his toys

– Knows sit and down and likes treats

– Does best with a harness on walks

– Can be socially awkward around other dogs but seems to like them and may enjoy like-minded dog friends (dog intro recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
