– Absolutely loves all kinds of toys, especially stuffed toys, and will carry them around – Enjoys being petted and has an adorable sploot when she’s relaxed – Currently working on her manners and has been redirecting well with toys – Active and would benefit from a home where all family members are old enough and big enough to enjoy her energy – Can be bit of a linebacker when playing with other dogs and can also be pushy at times; really enjoys dog friends and will likely do best with a dog who can help her regulate her play (dog intro recommended) – Has mild hip dysplasia in both hips (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you’re interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
