– Active, energetic dog who loves to do sprints and chase after toys; also likes being petted and will come right up to say hi

– Will likely open up more once she’s in a home environment and has had time to decompress

– Knows sit and down and likes treats

– Does best with a harness on walks

– Can be a linebacker-type player with other dogs and may do best with dogs that have a similar play style; does seem to like other dogs and may enjoy like-minded dog friends (dog intro recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
