HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Enjoys being petted and welcomes attention – Can be a bit shy at first, but is then a serious lap cat – Very cuddly guy who loves head scratches – ears, chin, and cheeks – He’s talkative when he wants attention, and gets the zoomies just before bedtime – Stressed around other cats (happiest as only feline) – This cat has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, and we recommend they be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats.
