– Has never met a stranger and gets so excited to say hi to everyone! – Will love hanging out with his people as much as possible – Walks nicely on a leash – Loves to learn and has great focus – especially if you have treats – so would be a lot of fun to train (already knows sit and stay!) – Not a fan of his kennel, but has been able to settle down inside with time and treats – Working on potty training in his foster home and will need some help from his new family to get to 100% – Has LOVED having dog friends but can be a bit of a rowdy player; will do best with dog friends who can match his energy – Has lived with children and done well with them – Looking for a home with no cats right now – Has tested heartworm positive and has received an initial treatment. This dog will need a second treatment and then a recheck to make sure they’re in the clear. All treatment phases will be completed at the ARL at no additional cost to the adopter. This dog will also need to be kept fairly calm until treatment is complete (more info at ARL) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
