– Has never met a stranger and is excited to say hi to everyone!

– Loves hanging out with his people as much as possible

– Knows sit and stay and walks nicely on a leash

– Not a fan of his kennel, but has been able to settle inside with time and treats

– Got a start on potty training in his foster home and will need some help from his new family to get to 100% there

– Has lived with children and done well with them

– Has LOVED having dog friends but can be a bit of a rowdy player; will do best with dog friends who can match his energy

– Looking for a home with no cats

– Tested heartworm positive and has received a full course of treatment here at the ARL; will receive a free recheck at the ARL in a few months to make sure he’s in the clear (more info at ARL)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
