– Can be nervous at first, and may need some time to get used to new people and things; has become more outgoing and trusting every day in his foster home and would thrive in a calm home with patient family members who will slowly expose him to new things and help him build confidence

– Once he feels comfortable, he loves to cuddle on the couch, sit beside you and have his ears rubbed, and spend time outside with the family – he is very sweet and loving!

– Knows sit and is treat-motivated

– Has done well with kids in his foster home but prefers being around older kids right now

– Has done well with dogs in his foster home and would benefit from a friendly, confident dog in his new home to help show him the ropes

– Really nice pup with tons of potential – just needs a kind person or family to give him a chance!

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
