– Happy dog who loves toy balls and stealing stuffed animals meant for humans and making them her own

– Her typical day: play zoomies + eat + BIG nap + repeat

– Spent time in a foster home and bonded closely with one of the humans there

– Does have some energy and would love some good walks and playtime each day

– Likes treats, and food may be the way to her heart

– Still working on potty training and will need some help from her new family on that front

– Not the biggest fan of the crate at this time and can be vocal

– Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her; would benefit from a more mature home where all family members are old enough to work with her on confidence-building

– Tends to be an introvert around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller group of dog friends; in her foster home she did show some guarding of her favorite people and toys, which may require management if other dogs are around (dog intro recommended)

– Has the BEST ears!

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
