Annie is a beautiful 20-year-old bay Standardbred mare with a sweet, gentle soul who takes comfort in routine and familiar people. 

Although Annie is completely blind, she doesn’t let that stop her from anything. She uses her other incredible senses and the trust she builds with the people who care for her, and her equine companions to navigate the world around her. 

Because Annie is blind, she would thrive in a quiet, understanding home with someone who is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to adapt to her new surroundings. Her new family will need to understand that she may require a little extra guidance and reassurance as she learns her new environment.
