– New people and things can be scary for her, particularly men, but she recovers pretty well if you let her take things at her own pace

– Once she has warmed up, she is a laid-back cuddle bug who loves being near her people

– Will likely open up even more once she’s in a home environment and has had time to decompress

– Knows sit and loves treats

– Does well on a leash, but may pull occasionally

– Will likely do best in a quiet home with more mature family members

– Laid back with other dogs and seems interested in playing; would probably enjoy a like-minded dog friend who is not too pushy (dog intro recommended)

– Did well with cats in a previous home

– Has the cutest underbite

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
