– Young kiddos may be a little overwhelming for this guy, so he’d thrive in a mature home with people who understand and respect canine body language (mature home recommended)

– Enjoys like-minded dog friends but may take time to warm up; would be most comfortable with a slow, careful introduction to new pup pals

– Would likely benefit from a confident dog brother or sister in his new residence

– The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
