– A total goofy, short-and-squatty boy who simply exists to make you smile!

– Is living with another dog in his foster home, and while he needs a bit of time to learn their boundaries, does pretty well cohabitating with canine friends. Would likely thrive with a pup that shares his passion for romping around

– Cats can simply be a little too much fun to interact with; would likely do best without feline roommates or would otherwise need very slow introductions to be set up for success

– Enjoys meeting new people of all ages but can sometimes forget how strong he is around tiny humans!

– Is going to blossom with an equally active family, ideally who has the time and space to cater to his curious and adventurous personality

– Has pretty reliable crate and house-training history in his foster home, but is still working on holding it for long extended stretches of time

– Already knows how to sit, shake, & stay! Still learning what these so called “leash manners” are so does best with a harness for now

– His favorite pastimes include chewing on marrow bones, dismantling stuffies, attempting to catch flying insects, and running laps with his jolly ball!

– Blow-up lawn decorations are public enemy #1 and he has pretty strong feelings about them!

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
