HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Friendly cat who enjoys meeting new people – Affectionate cat who loves being petted and purrs to show his appreciation – Enjoys sitting in your lap – Likes to snuggle next to you in bed at night – Playful kitty who likes cat toys of all kinds, especially toy mice and catnip toys – Can be a little shy at first, may need a few days to adjust to a new home, and will always appreciate having a comfortable hiding spot to retreat to whenever he needs some private time – May have feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC) and is currently eating urinary care cat food (Hills C/D). Has lived in a foster home for weeks with no litter box issues |
