Missy and Ellie Mae are Bonded Buddies; they’ll be adopted as a pair

– A bundle of joy who is full of love and excitement every time she sees you; gives the most wonderful welcomes in the morning and when you get home

– Very playful and cuddly; perfect for someone looking for love and companionship

– Likes to be under blankets and will sleep in the bend of your knees under the covers; also likes being in laps

– Can be shy at first, but warms up nicely when given time – her previous family said it takes an hour or so for her to warm up to strangers

– Has been potty trained and crate-trained in her foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine

– Seems to enjoy like-minded dog friends

– Has been diagnosed with a luxating patella, but at this time she is walking well and movement is comfortable for her (more info at ARL)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
