Additional Details

– Can be shy at times, but once he knows and trusts you he loves being with you and can be quite the velcro dog

– Has lived with another dog but can be nervous and tend to avoid new ones (dog intro recommended)

– Has lived with school-age children and did well with them; because he can be nervous he may be happiest in a home with more mature kids

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
