Last night, after spending their entire lives within the walls of a research and breeding facility, 40 beagles from Ridglan Farms arrived at the ARL to begin their next chapter.
Some were cautious but friendly, searching our faces and giving little tail wags as we spoke to them. Others were overwhelmed and trembling, unsure of where they were or what might happen next. These dogs have been through a lot, but we can already tell that they’re incredibly sweet souls.
Now they need you to help guide them toward their new lives.
All of these dogs will need neuter surgeries and other medical care to ensure they are healthy, and many will need significant emotional and behavioral support before they will be ready to find new homes. For these dogs everything is new – they’ve never touched grass, felt the warmth of the sun, or walked on a leash – but with your help they can blossom and discover the joy, comfort, and love they’ve always deserved.
