- Shy pup who may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home
- May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; she especially enjoys spending time with like-minded dogs who have a similar play style. Would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended)
- Prefers to explore and do her own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once she's in a home environment and has had time to decompress
- Once she finds her people, she is happy to share all of her love and wiggles
- Knows sit
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
