---
- Friendly girl who loves people; likes to hop up on the couch and snuggle in next to her foster family and take a nap
- Loves to sleep in bed with her people and will curl up at the foot of the bed
- Excited to participate in whatever you're doing and loves to explore; loves water
- Likes playing with all types of toys, especially rubber toys and squeakers; also loves a good stick and will play fetch with you
- Loves all kinds of treats
- Has done well on a leash and in the car; likes to play with a toy or stick her head out the window while riding in the car
- Does the cutest full body wiggle when she's super excited
- Will lay her head in your lap at the end of a long day of fun
- Foster family says she is not a barking dog and tends to be pretty quiet
- Warms up quickly to new people and environments
- Has had perfect potty habits in her foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine
- Has done great in her foster family's apartment, but also really loved being able to play in a fenced-in yard when she went on a playdate
- Does okay in her kennel once she knows her routine, but would much rather be allowed to roam free; has been very polite in her foster family's home and does not get into things that aren't hers
- Has done great with the kids in her foster home, but some young, noisy or busy kids may be too much for her, so she may do best with more mature kids; she'd love to meet any kiddos in your home before adoption to make sure everyone's a great match
- An energetic and occasionally rowdy player with other dogs; really wants to play and would likely do best with a dog who can match her energy level; may also do best with a slow introduction
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
