- Loves snuggling and giving kisses; spent time in a foster home and his family said he is a huge goofball and seemed to love making them laugh
- Likes to play with tug toys
- Smart and great a learning new skills; knows sit, shake, lay down and knuckles
- Loves going on walks and is still working on not pulling so he does best with a harness right now; also went on a run with his foster family and absolutely loved it
- Enjoys exploring and watching squirrels, birds and bunnies; will sit right down at the door and wait if he has any inkling he might go outside
- Not a big fan of his crate, so he may need some help with that in his new home
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended)
- Can be introverted and a bit awkward around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
