- Loves people, activity, toys and being silly; likes to be at the center of whatever's going on
- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time: "He rode calmly in the car with his head out the window and ran happily in our fenced yard while playing with a squeak toy. When he was inside, he just wanted to get pets or lay on the floor by someone."
- Knows sit and has been learning a lot of new tricks here at the shelter; he's truly one of the smartest boys!
- Will give you his undivided attention if he knows you have treats - they're his favorite thing
- Loves going on walks and can pull hard when he gets excited, so he will do best with a harness
- Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro required)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
