Pepper is being adopted out as a pasture pal and cannot be ridden. Pepper is an approximately 17 year old quarter horse mare. She is a beautiful mover and is an easy keeper that does well living with other horses. She would benefit greatly with an experienced handler or trainer to help her learn to trust and love people and new experiences. She is currently in our training program and our staff are working with her on feeling safe in a person's presence. She has been very responsive to body language and is respectful at liberty. With a patient owner, and consistent work, she will learn how great people can be.
Pepper has been diagnosed with a couple genetic diseases that can be talked through in more detail over the phone or in person. They are currently managed well with daily Equioxx and vitamin E supplements.
