Additional Details
- A sweet cuddler who enjoys being petted; will follow you around the house all day then curl up to sleep next to your head at night
- Likes talking, exploring, birdwatching and playing
- Favorite toys are small catnip mice and anything on a string, and she's great at entertaining herself but loves it when you play with her too
- Loves tall cat trees and scratching posts
- Quick movements and loud noises are not her thing, so she prefers calm, quiet spaces and would prefer a home with more mature family members
- Can be very uncomfortable around other cats and would need a slow introduction to any in her new home; would likely be happiest as an only kitty
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
