Scott Christensen, FSA, MAAA, CFA

President & CEO, Principal Bank and Principal Trust Company

Scott is responsible for the management and strategic direction of these two companies providing deposit, trust, and custody services to customers of Principal.   Principal Bank and Principal Trust Company combined have approximately $1 trillion of Assets Under Administration making it a top 10 trustee and custodian in the United States.  Principal Bank also has approximately $8 billion of deposits making it the largest bank domiciled in the state of Iowa.

Scott has also served other roles at the company including Chief Executive Officer for Principal Advised Services, Chief Financial Officer for Principal Securities, Investment Risk Officer for Principal Life Insurance Company (PLIC), and Global Derivative Oversight Director for Principal Financial Group (PFG).
