This class will give your juvenile an opportunity to continue valuable socialization while providing you the needed support and knowledge to teach your puppy the behaviors they need to communicate effectively in your home. \nClass topics may include the following\, but are often tailored to individual classes. \n\nFrustration prevention (dog and owner)\nAppropriate coping during stressful and frustrating moments\nAppropriate dog interactions\, in and out of play\nAddressing and working through frustration during training\nMental vs. physical enrichment and how they play a role in development and coping\nRefresh known skills and build upon what your young dog knows already\nHow to encourage decompression and appropriate coping\nProblem-solving and prevention\nGraduation diploma\n\nFees\n$100\, 4 sessions of 50-minute lessons. \nNote about Treats\nThe best way to train your pet is through the proper use of positive reinforcement and rewards. Perfect for those with busy schedules who aren’t able to commit to a 4-week class\, but want to learn the basics of manners (sit\, down\, come\, stay\, loose-leash walking\, and introduction to clicker training). Come once\, or as often as you’re able! An ARL instructor will be available to answer any questions you have or give you help as needed. All dogs will be taught in a humane manner using positive reinforcement methods. This class is limited to 4 dogs. \nFees\n$40 per class\, includes a clicker for training. Fees for classes are subject to change and are non-refundable. \nNote about Treats\nThe best way to train your pet is through the proper use of positive reinforcement and rewards. Please bring plenty of high-value treats to class\, such as cut-up hot dogs\, cheese\, chicken\, and chewy training treats.
