Our Miracle Medical Team quickly got to work easing Bella’s pain. She was hurting and afraid, and our team examined her fragile body as gently as possible, giving her pain medications to soothe her skin and antibiotics to start the healing process. We then guided her to a clean, comfortable kennel, where she curled into a ball and looked up at us with sad, cloudy eyes.
Under the care of our Miracle Medical Team, Bella is showing small signs of progress – she has begun accepting gentle affection and will even give small tail wags. We hope that as her pain subsides she will continue to open up. Sadly, her recovery will be a long one, with weeks of medications, topical treatments and medicated baths to get her infection under control and help her body heal. That’s where she needs your help.
