Court-Ordered Community Service

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is a firm believer in second chances and has opportunities set up specifically to help individuals finish court-ordered community service time.

What Court-ordered Community Service Includes

Available shifts to complete hours run from 7 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. These tasks are strictly non-animal handling roles. If you would like to work with the animals, we encourage you to go through our training as a regular volunteer when community service hours are complete.

Please note: we do not accommodate individuals with past or present assault, harassment, theft, or animal abuse charges.
