The ARL can help you assess the situation and report it to the proper law enforcement agency.
Our Litter-ary Club gives animal lovers ages 5-16 the chance to read aloud to the cats in our care. It’s a great way for kids to practice their reading skills while providing soothing company and socialization to cats waiting for homes.
Participants must complete a Volunteer Orientation where they’ll learn about the Animal Rescue League and guidelines for volunteering.
Once complete, participants can read to felines in our adoptable cat community rooms or outside the cat kennels on the second floor of our Clowder House for cats during open hours.
*A parent or guardian must be present with a reader for the entirety of each reading session. Each parent or guardian can have up to two children participate as long as both children are registered and have attended orientation.
